Our client is a leading Digital and Cloud Services business based in West London. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an SQL Developer. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on global client projects and taking the lead on developing SQL databases.

You will have sole responsibility for developing SQL databases and shaping technical direction over the coming years, your expertise will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• As the SQL developer you will be responsible for Designing, developing and maintaining SQL databases.
• Merges, purges, standardizes, normalizes and dedups incoming data from clients following complex business rules.
• Maintains data quality.
• Works with Program Managers to develop reporting and export queries and fulfil ad hoc requests for their databases.
• As an SQL developer you will work directly with Data Services Project managers and clients on data cleaning and /or integrating projects entailing merging, purging, standardizing, normalizing, deduping, appending and extrapolating data.
• Work with Web Development team Data Services Program Managers and clients to develop custom Internet/Intranet web applications for our data services clients or for internal use.
• As an SQL developer you will work on integration projects internally or with clients using data integration points or web services integration points.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a SQL developer is a must
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server; DTS; SSIS; SQL Business Intelligence; SSRS
• Experience working on Sales & Marketing databases e.g. CRM, Salesforce etc
• Ability to think logically and solve complex business challenges
• Proactive and good communication skills
• Proven experience working on data manipulation project is desirable
